ESI Group adds another LEED Professional

ESI Group, a full-service engineering and construction firm to the food industry, offers clients an additional LEED resource. Andy Blaser, who holds a Master of Architecture Degree with a Concentration in Ecological Design, now adds LEED AP BD+C to his list of credentials. This new accreditation arms Andy in helping to competently facilitate the LEED certification process for ESI Group customers.

The green building movement offers an unprecedented opportunity to respond to the most-important challenges of our time, including global climate change, dependence of non-sustainable and expensive sources of energy and threats to human health,” said Rick Fedrizzi, CEO and founding chair, USGBC. “The work of innovative building projects such as those designed and built for the storage and distribution of food is a fundamental driving force in the green building movement.”

Adding additional LEED accredited personnel to our staff will continue to put ESI Group at an advantage as we see more owners planning ahead for more sustainable industrial refrigerated facilities, says Tim Gibbons, VP of Design for ESI Group.
