Senior Electrical Engineer, PE
The Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) will lead the electrical design and engineering for food automation, distribution, and processing facilities nationwide. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll drive project success by providing hands-on design from initial planning to production of construction documents.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate on design teams as the electrical project lead and provide hands-on design from initial planning and development through production of construction documents
- Review shop drawings, respond to questions, and provide design support to field project management and contractors through construction phase
- Delegate and review work of other staff as appropriate
- Develop, edit, and improve project specifications
- Develop and improve design standards and production methods
- Provide consulting services as requested for clients and internal departments
- Position may include occasional travel for meetings, site surveys, and progress inspections for a typical duration of one (1) to three (3) days
- Position is full-time, paid hourly, and qualifies for overtime pay, with compensation based on overall qualifications and level of experience

Education & Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with MLE NCEES record who can become licensed in additional states
- Prior background in the construction and/or architecture field
- 10 or more years directly relevant electrical systems design and construction experience
- Current knowledge and awareness of electrical design and construction practices and
- applicable building, electrical, and energy codes and standards
- Understanding of construction contracting, budgeting, and estimating
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visual and SKM Power Tools
- Proficiency in Revit is highly preferred, however, candidates with a strong aptitude to learn may be considered
