HARTLAND, WI., August 22, 2024 – ESI Group USA (ESI Group) continues investing in the future of the industry and its personnel. This year, the Controlled Environment Building Association, otherwise known as CEBA, launched a certification program to equip participants with in-depth knowledge of constructing, maintaining, and managing controlled-environment facilities.
The program covers crucial areas such as product safety regulations, building design principles, controlled environment building control systems, and the impacts on energy and the environment. Certification is awarded upon completing an assessment exam, confirming that individuals have met the program’s rigorous learning outcomes.
We are pleased to share that Teddy Martin, ESI Project Manager, has completed this program and is a CEBA Certified Professional!

Formed in 1978 by a small group of insulation contractors to discuss the formation of an association representing contractors who serve the specific needs of the cold storage industry. The National Association of Cold Storage Insulation Contractors was incorporated within a year, and its founding Board of Directors was named. Multiple committees were formed to serve membership and industry. In 2002, another name change was made to the International Association for Cold Storage Construction to invite a broader membership and give all members equal status. To better align with a changing industry and expand the expertise of its members, the association’s name changed in 2018 to the Controlled Environment Building Association
