ESI Group recognized with statewide construction award

Hartland, Wis. – ESI Group USA, a nationally accredited design-build engineering and construction management firm specializing in the food industry, was awarded a Silver in the General Construction – Industrial (Over $3 Million) category from ABC’s Project of Distinction Program.

“There are six independent expert judges who use stringent criteria such as onsite safety, unusual circumstances or challenges and the overall quality of construction delivered to the customer,” said John Mielke, ABC of Wisconsin President. “Projects that receive awards are not only unique but impressive!”

The Projects of Distinction Awards, which recognizes projects built on merit, were presented February 15 at the Glacial Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells. Nearly 400 attendees were on hand to experience the many high-quality projects that ABC member contractors delivered for business and industry. In all, 45 projects were recognized with gold and silver awards.

This Greenfield Facility was named Crossroads for its’ prime location and will primarily function as an international export center.  The footprint of this state-of-the-art Refrigerated Warehouse is 111,080 square feet and offers distinctive features like custom designed blast freezers and a new rail spur to the railroad for means of transporting the product to the coasts.
